Hatcher flies in for Planes event

Teri Hatcher provides her voice talents for Disney film Planes

Teri Hatcher touched down on the red carpet at the London premiere of Planes.

Disney's latest animation features former Desperate Housewives star Teri as the voice of forklift truck Dottie in a story about a cropdusting plane called Dusty who's terrified of heights but wants to compete in an aerial race.

Teri, who first became famous as Lois Lane in TV show The Adventures Of Superman, said: "I love being a part of animated films and specifically Disney movies. I watched them when I was a kid, I watched them with my daughter when she was a kid, we still watch them.

"They tell such wonderful, fulfilling stories and the animation is so wonderful, so yeah, being a part of something where you think 'my grandkids are going to watch this movie some day', that's a good thing."

She was joined at the Leicester Square premiere by EastEnders star Jake Wood, Birds Of A Feather actress Linda Robson and Britain's Got Talent finalists Gabz and Pre-Skool.

Gabz, whose self-penned audition song Lighters was released as a single in June, said she was looking forward to a special gig this summer.

"I think I'm going to be performing at the Olympic Park soon, next Friday," she said. Asked whether it was a nervewracking prospect, she replied: "No, I'm excited."

Planes is released in cinemas on August 16.

Trust your intuition about a domestic matter. If you think it's time to get a new place, start looking for one. You could find a home that cultivates tranquillity and relaxation. Escaping the fray will be a relief. Although you enjoy socialising, you also crave private time. Being able to watch movies, read books and listen to music replenishes your batteries. A needy relative could request help. This would be a good time to establish some healthy boundaries. Stop dropping everything for this relative's benefit.More
