Anne Heche has joined the cast of Arthur Newman, Golf Pro as Colin Firth's henpecking girlfriend.
Oscar-winner Colin stars in the comedy about a man who hates his job and feels mistreated by his family, so decides to fake his own death and create a new identity.
Hung star Anne has been cast as his girlfriend, who treats him horribly, Variety reports.
Emily Blunt also co-stars as a troubled young woman befriended by Colin's character on his new path in life. The pair team up and start breaking into empty homes and pretending to be the absent owners.
The film will be directed by Dante Ariola, whose previous experience has been in directing TV adverts, and the script has been penned by Becky Johnston.
