Thor star Chris Hemsworth had no qualms about taking his top off, according to director Kenneth Branagh.
"When I asked him if he minded taking his shirt off, he said 'what? I've been working out for a year - let me take my shirt off!'," the filmmaker laughed at the movie's glitzy Hollywood premiere.
Branagh said the Aussie star's body "was well worth seeing", adding: "Thor absolutely needed a heroic god-like physique and boy did he get one together."
He admitted he was equally blow away by Sir Anthony Hopkins' performance as Thor's father.
"You believe he's the king of the universe," he said. "We gave him a patch over one eye, he only has one eye and he's still brilliant in the movie - with that kind of talent you're in great shape."
Having worked flat-out to bring the blockbuster superhero-romp to the big screen, Branagh admits he's ready for a rest now.
"I'm going to have a cup if tea and walk the dogs, [that] is very much my intention!" he laughed.
