Hemsworth to star in Mann thriller?

Chris Hemsworth may have found his next film project after Robopocalypse was postponed

Chris Hemsworth is attached to star in a cyber thriller by Michael Mann.

The Thor star is rumoured to take a leading role in the as-yet-untitled movie, which the Public Enemies filmmaker will direct, reported Variety.

The story, which Michael has been developing for over a year and has co-written the script with Morgan Davis Foehl, apparently takes place in the world of cyber threats and attacks, but details are being kept under wraps.

Production is expected to begin in June.

Chris, who last starred in Snow White And The Huntsman and Red Dawn, had been preparing to shoot Steven Spielberg's sci-fi pic Robopocalypse for his next film, before the project was pushed back.

The 29-year-old, who welcomed his first child with Spanish wife Elsa Pataky last year, has been filming Ron Howard's racing drama Rush and the Thor sequel, The Dark World.

He is also attached to star in the adventure film In The Heart Of The Sea and is expected to return for the next instalment of Snow White And The Huntsman.
