Ryan Gosling has got the seal of approval from his new leading lady Christina Hendricks.
The Ides Of March actor is gearing up to make his directorial debut with fantasy film How To Catch A Monster, which the Mad Men actress will star in.
And Christina - who shared the screen with Ryan in Drive - told E! News she thinks he will be "amazing" behind the camera.
She gushed: "So far, he's so prepared and so passionate about everything. He's already come up with amazing storyboards and music and shot beautiful imagery for everything, so I'm really excited."
"My favourite thing about Ryan is his extraordinary talent," Christina added.
Ryan, who is dating actress Eva Mendes, also wrote How To Catch A Monster, which is about a single mother swept into a dark fantasy underworld while her son finds a road leading to an underwater town.
He is due to start working on the movie next year.
