Hoffman added to Little Fockers?
Dustin Hoffman is reportedly being asked to reprise his role as Bernie Focker in Meet The Parents sequel Little Fockers.
The Oscar-winning actor played Ben Stiller's father in earlier sequel Meet The Fockers and New York Magazine claims sources at Universal have revealed there are plans to re-shoot scenes from the previously wrapped production, in the hope Hoffman will agree to be a last-minute addition to the cast.
Little Fockers - starring Stiller and Robert De Niro - sees Gaylord 'Greg' Focker (Stiller) and wife Pam (Teri Polo) become parents for the first time, while Greg copes with his overbearing father-in-law, played by De Niro.
Deadline Hollywood reported earlier this week that the film had gone back into the studio for last minute re-shoots.
Hoffman is apparently in talks to return as Bernie, but there are complications as he is currently starring in David Milch and Michael Mann's new HBO series Luck, an organised-crime drama set in the world of horse-racing.
Little Fockers sees Blythe Danner return as Greg's mother-in-law, Barbra Streisand as Greg's mother and Owen Wilson as Kevin Rawley, Pam's ex-fiance, who her parents greatly approved of.
In the film Greg is experiencing a mid-life crisis as fatherhood approaches.
Jessica Alba also makes an appearance as a sexy rep from a pharmaceutical company.
