Nicholas Hoult has revealed the success of his film Warm Bodies came as a surprise to him.
The About A Boy star plays a zombie whose love for a human redeems him in the movie, which hit the top spot in the US.
Nicholas told Collider: "Yeah, it was a very pleasant surprise.
"Obviously I loved the script and the character and really enjoyed making the film and thought that everyone involved was very talented, but it's a big relief when something comes out and people seem to like it and go and see and it does well.
"It's always a big reward at the end."
The British actor - who co-stars with Teresa Palmer in the film - went on: "When something is successful it means hopefully it opens up other doors and means you carry on to do things you like and care about, and work with good people."
