Hudson: I want to score Luther film

Mr Hudson would love to score a film

Mr Hudson has revealed he'd love to write the music for a film - such as Idris Elba's Luther movie.

The British producer and musician - whose real name is Benjamin Hudson - is a massive fan of Luther and worked with Idris on his latest single Step Into The Shadows.

Mr Hudson admitted: "I would love to score a film. I would love to do sci-fi. I'd love to do something like Moon, I've watched that about 10 times."

Asked if he'd like to score the new Luther movie which Idris is said to have in the pipeline, he said: "I'm there like Fred Astaire!"

He added: "I've just been glued to Luther, like so many people. I thought it was a really brave, exciting unique piece of television. And his performance is so strong.

"I've also got Prometheus on loop on my laptop and he's really strong in that.

"It was kind of Luther I wanted on my album, but as he doesn't exist in the real world Idris is the closest thing and he came round the next day to my studio and we started working. He ended up working on two or three tracks on my new album and introduced me to George the poet who I did a track with, so it was a fruitful relationship."
