Hudson joins Three Stooges
Jennifer Hudson is set to sing her way into the Three Stooges.
The Oscar-winning Dreamgirls star has signed on to play Sister Rosemary in the big-screen adaptation of the vaudeville and comedy act from the early 20th century.
Glee actress Jane Lynch, best known for her portrayal of acerbic cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, has been cast as Mother Superior, while Larry David is taking the role of Mother Mengele, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Peter and Bobby Farrelly will be directing the comedy, which stars Chris Diamantopoulos as Moe, Sean Hayes as Larry and Will Sasso as Curly.
Following her award-winning performance in Dreamgirls, Jennifer, who shot to fame after being a finalist on American Idol in 2004, has had appearances in the Sex And The City movie and The Secret Life Of Bees.
Her next big-screen outing is in Winnie, in which she plays Winnie Mandela, wife of former South African leader Nelson Mandela.
