Liam Hemsworth has promised that the Hunger Games sequel won't disappoint fans.
The actor is reprising his role in the follow-up Catching Fire alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, as well as newcomers like Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Jena Malone, and fans were treated to a sneak peek at CinemaCon.
The movie was the star of a look-ahead presentation at the convention in Las Vegas, where director Francis Lawrence, who is new to the series, revealed that he was still "furiously" cutting the film.
Liam added: "I know that he's not going to disappoint anyone."
The audience was treated to a trailer for the film, in which Katniss (Jennifer) is seen scowling as people in the Capitol fret about what should be done with her and other Hunger Games victors, finally deciding they must be eliminated.
"I think we've actually been able to really ratchet up the emotion and the scope this time," Francis said.
The movie is based on the second book in author Suzanne Collins' best-selling trilogy about teenagers being forced to battle to the death.
It will be released in November.
