Hunnam tipped for King Arthur role
Charlie Hunnam is in talks to play King Arthur in Guy Ritchie's upcoming film.
The Sons Of Anarchy star is tipped for the leading role in the medieval drama, Knights Of The Roundtable: King Arthur, where he is said to be in final negotiations, reported Deadline.
Fifty Shades Of Grey actor Jamie Dornan was previously linked to the role.
Idris Elba is said to be in talks to play Bedivere, Arthur's father's right-hand man, who will teach his son how to lead an army, although other reports claim he is in discussions for the part of Merlin.
The film, which has been written by Joby Harold, is Warner Bros' new take on the English myth. It will tell the story of King Arthur and his knights of the kingdom of Camelot and is scheduled for release in July 2016.
Charlie, who is filming his seventh and final season as Jax Teller on Sons Of Anarchy, was previously attached to play Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades Of Grey film, before leaving due to scheduling conflicts. He was then replaced by Jamie.
The 34-year-old actor will next return to the big screen in Guillermo del Toro's Crimson Peak alongside Mia Wasikowska, Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain.
