Hunter joins Pacino in new drama

Holly Hunter has joined the cast of Manglehorn

Holly Hunter has landed the female lead in new drama Manglehorn.

The Thirteen star joins fellow Oscar winner Al Pacino in the film, Deadline reported.

Details of Holly's role have not been released, but Al will play an eccentric man who tries to come to terms with a past crime that cost him the love of his life.

Chris Messina and Harmony Korine have also signed up for the movie, which will be directed by David Gordon Green.

Manglehorn will be financed and produced by Worldview Entertainment.

Worldview's Molly Conners said: "Holly, Chris and Harmony add a tremendous amount of prestige and talent to this project and we are delighted to have them join Al to bring David's unique story to life."
