Idris Elba set for Gunman movie

Idris Elba is reportedly in talks for a role in Gunman

Idris Elba has been tipped for a role in new action thriller Gunman.

The Luther star is currently in talks about a part in director Pierre Morel's movie, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog.

Sean Penn and Javier Bardem are already on board for the movie, about an international operative (Sean) who is betrayed by the organisation he works for and has to clear his name in order to save his own life.

Golden Globe winner Idris is up for the role of another operative, named Dupont, but so far it hasn't been announced who Skyfall star Javier will play.

The action thriller is based on a novel by Jean-Patrick Manchette.

London-born Idris has several movies coming up, including Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim and crime thriller No Good Deed.

Virgo:

Read the fine print on a contract. If you're not happy with the proposed terms of a deal, renegotiate. Don't be afraid to drive a hard bargain. You may not realise it, but you have a great deal of power. People are willing to pay good money for someone with your intelligence and experience. If you undersell yourself, you will set a dangerous precedent. Someone will ask you to do something that goes against your conscience. Obey your principles, even if it means making an enemy.More
