TG4 weather presenter Caitlín Nic Aoidh disappeared in a flash of lightning live on air on Monday leaving viewers bemused

The weather presenter on the channel for Irish-language speakers was mid-forecast when she was struck by a flash of lightning and then disappeared from the screen.

The disappearance was followed by a spooky silence, before TG4 cut the programme.
