Hugh Jackman has described his Les Miserables role as "beyond" a dream come true.
The Australian actor stars as reformed convict Jean Valjean in Tom Hooper's big-screen adaptation, alongside Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen.
Asked on Twitter if the part has been a dream role, he replied: "Beyond", and added that filming is "almost done, a few more weeks to go."
Hugh also gave an update on the long-developing Wolverine sequel, spilling the beans on when shooting will start.
"Starts shooting in August," he said.
The 43-year-old - who previously said that filming will begin in 2011 - will reprise his role as the X-Men mutant in the second spin-off film, which has run into several delays since its 2009 teaser.
James Mangold is attached to direct, with a release date set for summer 2013.
