Jaime contacted dad through agent
Jaime Winstone has revealed she went through her dad's agent to offer him a role in Elfie Hopkins.
The 26-year-old - the middle daughter of actor Ray - admitted that she didn't want the boundaries between father and daughter to be blurred.
"I am strictly professional! Also, I didn't want to say, 'Dad, will you come and do this to help us out?' because that puts a different spin on it," she said.
"I'd rather him read the script through his agent and say, 'I'd like to do this job'. We have a really good working relationship and I think we should keep it by the books and professional, rather than it being like father and daughter, however much people will say," Jaime added.
The actress - who starred in and co-produced Ryan Andrew's horror thriller, which is in cinemas now - considered it a "massive honour" that her dad supported her in the film.
"I very much stand on my own two feet and my dad allows that. He wants to be involved because he liked the script and he wanted to help me," she continued.
"That's a massive honour to be able to work with my dad in the first film that I produced and pull it off."
However, Jaime revealed she didn't make him audition for the role of Butcher Bryn.
"No, no. He could have done what he wanted with it. He's great to watch. It was a real treat," she added.
