Jaimie Alexander has revealed she gets to do more action scenes in the Thor sequel.
The actress is reprising her role as goddess of war Sif in the follow-up to the 2011 action film alongside Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston.
She told Collider: "I'm very excited about Thor 2. It's great. [Sif] definitely has a lot more action and does some great scenes where she gets to fight side by side with Thor.
"You really get to see how much love she has for her fellow Asgardians because she puts her life on the line and risks a lot to save a few Asgardians."
Jaimie can next be seen on screen in The Last Stand, which stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as a veteran cop who is tasked with capturing an escaped drugs baron.
"The guy just doesn't quit. He pulled so many long hours, he's 65 now, he was jumping off buildings," Jaimie said of Arnie.
"He just shows how much hard work pays off."
