January Jones has confirmed that she will not be reprising her role in the new X-Men movie.
The Mad Men actress told Collider that she hadn't been asked to return as Emma Frost, the character she played in 2011's X-Men: First Class.
She said: "I haven't been asked back.
"It's called Days Of Future Past or something. No, they're going into another time period, or they're going back and forth from different time periods and Emma's not in that. Not in what they're doing."
James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender are already set to reprise their leading roles as Charles Xavier (Professor X) and Erik Lensherr (Magneto) in the upcoming follow-up to Matthew Vaughn's 2011 film.
Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Ellen Page, Anna Paquin and Shawn Ashmore are set to reprise their X-Men characters, alongside returning cast members Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult.
