Jason Schwartzman is to be a dad.
The Fantastic Mr Fox star shared the happy news on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, revealing that he and wife Brady Cunningham are expecting their first child in December.
Impending fatherhood is already having an impact on Jason, who next stars in Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, as he's decided he plans to grow a moustache so he can embarrass his child.
The 30-year-old recalls being routinely embarrassed as a kid by his newborn baby photos, in which his own dad sported dodgy facial hair.
"I would show my friends, 'Look at my father's moustache, how terrible is that?!'" he said.
Now, the actor says, it's his turn to repay the favour.
"I decided to grow out this moustache, so when we take photos - my boy or girl, whatever it is - they'll be embarrassed. So I am now thinking of ways to embarrass my unborn child," he told the chat show presenter.
Jason married fashion designer Brady in July 2009.
