Jim Carrey ready for Dumber sequel
Jim Carrey has confirmed he is ready to make the Dumb And Dumber sequel - and he wants Emma Stone to join him.
The movie's future had been uncertain after Jim dropped out, but he has now told E! News that he and his co-star Jeff Daniels are on board and ready to reprise their roles in the long-awaited follow-up to the 1994 comedy.
He said: "I'm ready. There is a script. It's fun. Jeff and I are raring to go."
It has been reported that director Peter Farrelly would like to add Emma Stone and Channing Tatum to the cast of the new film, titled Dumb And Dumber To, and Jim agreed he would like to see the stars in the film.
"That would be great. That would be awesome," he said.
However, it seems it might be a little while before fans get to see the new adventures of Lloyd Christmas (Jim) and Harry Dunne (Jeff), as the sequel is still being held up despite the main stars being ready to go.
Speaking at the premiere of his new film The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, Jim said the delay was "administrative", adding: "The green light committees have to have their way."
