John C Reilly for Guardians film?

John C Reilly has apparently joined Guardians Of The Galaxy

John C Reilly has reportedly signed up to star in Guardians Of The Galaxy.

The Step Brothers star will play Rhomann Dey, an intergalactic soldier who gives powers to human Richard Rider, according to Deadline.

He joins the cast of the Marvel film which already includes Benicio Del Toro, Glenn Close, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Lee Pace and Michael Rooker and will be directed by James Gunn.

As Rhomann Dey, John will be leader of the Nova Corps on planet Xandar, whose home and family were destroyed by space pirate Zorr.

Rhomann becomes mortally wounded by Zorr and chooses a human, Richard, to inherit his powers and defeat the evil pirate.

Guardians Of The Galaxy is due to be released in summer 2014.

John can be seen later this year in comedy sequel Anchorman: The Legend Continues.

It's difficult to deal with a highly competitive colleague. Every time you submit work, they try to find ways to outperform you. A good way to disarm this pest is to invite them out for coffee. Describe what you've observed and ask for a truce. Irrational people are often thrown off balance when their behaviour is addressed in a direct manner.More
