Johnson for Forever, Interrupted

Dakota Johnson is set to play a woman grieving the loss of her husband in a new movie.

The actress is officially attached to Forever, Interrupted, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The project is another book-to-film adaptation for Dakota, who is playing Anastasia Steele in the eagerly awaited movie version of Fifty Shades Of Grey.

Forever, interrupted is based on a book by Taylor Jenkins Reid a nd follows a woman who "forms an unlikely r elationship with her mother - who doesn't know of her existence" when her husband dies suddenly.

Dakota, 24, will also be an executive producer on the movie from Gidden Media and Good Universe.

Amy Baer, of Gidden Media, said: "Dakota will be exquisite as Elsie, who has to deal with the sudden loss of a great love. She is a deeply thoughtful, sensitive and smart woman and actress."

The actress' other upcoming films include drama Cymbeline and crime film Black Mass.

The Fifty Shades Of Grey film is due to be released in cinemas on February 14, 2015.
