Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson could be starring in upcoming monster movie Lore.
The Journey 2 star is thought to be joining the cast of the film, a "a hybrid of traditional narrative and graphic novel", Vulture reports.
The flick, from Australian husband-and-wife team, illustrator Ashley Wood and author TP Louise, features mythical creatures who are presumed extinct but are in fact being held at bay by a secret society.
Lore will apparently begin with straight narrative of the past before moving into the present, where things shift into comic book illustrations.
Pro-wrestler Dwayne is currently working alongside Mark Wahlberg in the action comedy Pain And Gain, about a couple of bodybuilders who get caught up in an extortion ring.
