Angelina Jolie is reportedly interested in a role in The Silver Linings Playbook.
The Salt star is rumoured to be meeting director David O Russell about the film, claimed Just Jared, leading to speculation that she could be joining Mark Wahlberg in the big-screen adaptation of Matthew Quick's novel.
Mark is on board to play Pat Peoples, a former high school teacher who, after being released from a four year stint in a mental institution, moves back in with his mother, but seeks to reinvent himself so he can reconcile with his ex-wife.
Bradley Cooper and Anne Hathaway were briefly mentioned for the lead roles previously.
Angelina, who promoted her new film Kung Fu Panda 2 at Cannes, could have a full plate of projects in the pipeline, including the Salt sequel, Maleficent, Churchill And Roosevelt and Cleopatra, which are all at various stages of development.
She is also wrapping up her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood And Honey.
