Jon Hamm set for kidnap comedy?

Jon Hamm could be lining up to play a teacher in Epic Fail

Jon Hamm is reportedly interested in joining new comedy film Epic Fail.

The 41-year-old actor - who is best known for playing advertising executive Don Draper in hit television series Mad Men - is said to be "circling" a role in the kidnap film, according to Variety.

The movie, penned by Kevin Costello, will follow a down-on-his-luck high school teacher who is desperate to revive his marriage. He enlists two of his students to stage his wife's kidnapping so he can play the hero, save her and rekindle their relationship.

It's thought Jon is interested in playing the teacher in the movie.

Jon has tackled comedy on the silver screen before, in films such as Bridesmaids and this year's Friends With Kids, which he starred in with his partner Jennifer Westfeldt.
