Jude Law for Guy's King Arthur film

Jude Law is apparently set to reunite with Guy Ritchie on his new King Arthur project.

Jude - who plays Dr John Watson alongside Robert Downey Jr in Guy's Sherlock movies - is in talks to play the villain in Knights Of The Roundtable, according to Variety.

Charlie Hunnam is to star as King Arthur in the film, which will tell the story of the ruler and his knights of the kingdom of Camelot, while Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides beauty Astrid Berges-Frisbey has been cast as his Queen Guinevere.

Guy is still seeking an actor to play Arthur's mentor after talks with Idris Elba broke down.

Warner Bros is reportedly hoping the movie can be the start of a six-part franchise based on Arthurian legend.

Knights Of The Roundtable is scheduled to be released in July 2016.
