Julia Roberts set for Money Monster

Julia Roberts and George Clooney are set to be reunited on the big screen.

The Oscar winners, who played lovebirds in the Ocean's Eleven films and also starred together in spy comedy Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind, are tipped to share the screen in drama thriller Money Monster.

George is already said to be on board and The Wrap reported that Julia is in talks.

Jack O'Connell, the star of Angelina Jolie's upcoming war film Unbroken, is also in negotiations about the financial thriller.

George will star as a TV personality who offers up stock advice on a television show. He is taken hostage on air by a young man, the part Jack is thought to be in line for, who is on a mission to increase a stock's value and expose corporate crooks.

Julia is in talks to play the woman who makes the TV show George's character appears on.

Money Monster is being directed by Jodie Foster and is due to be unveiled next year.
