Jurassic World trailer released early: Sequel to Jurassic Park features terrifyingly huge GM dinosaur
Jurassic World has premiered its first full-length trailer for the sequel, giving fans the first look at the new park and the "genetically modified" dinosaur set to terrify child viewers.
Starring Guardians of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt in the lead role, the sequel is set 22 years after the events of the first Jurassic Park film.
After a decade of delays, it's already high on the list of must-see movies of 2015.
Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond.
Tourists are seen visiting the park, riding in vehicles as the animals run past, while Pratt just stands and smoulders in an elevator.
But the image of a huge cooked-up-in-a-lab dinosaur leaping out of the water to gobble a shark gives us a taste of the monster that inevitably escapes via a 40-foot wall to cause terror on the island.
Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment and The Help actress Bryce Dallas Howard co-stars opposite Pratt.
The film's score will be composed by Michael Giacchino, incorporating themes from John Williams' previous Jurassic Park scores.
Currently in post-production, Jurassic World is scheduled to be released on June 12, 2015.
And remember, if something chases you... run.
