Kebbell in talks for Ben-Hur role

Toby Kebbell is the latest actor linked to the big screen remake of Ben-Hur.

The Fantastic Four star is in early talks for director Timur Bekmambetov's film, reported Variety.

English actor Toby is tipped for the part of Messala, Ben-Hur's former friend-turned-rival.

Earlier this week it was revealed that Boardwalk Empire's Jack Huston will have the title role of Judah Ben-Hur, who was played by Charlton Heston in the classic 1959 movie.

Hollywood star Morgan Freeman is playing Ildarin, the man who teaches Ben-Hur to become a champion chariot racer.

The film is scheduled to be released on February 26, 2016.
