Anna Kendrick has revealed she got serious stubble rash after a kissing scene with Chace Crawford.
The pair play young lovers in new comedy What To Expect When You're Expecting, and Twilight star Anna revealed their on-screen embrace wasn't as romantic as it seemed.
"His stubble is very sharp and very masculine and the next day my face was actually peeling as if I had sunburn because his stubble was so manly," she said of the Gossip Girl star.
"But I was pretty excited about working with him. He is scarily good-looking in person, like you think part of that is lighting and make-up and the way the camera makes him look and then you meet him in person and you're like, 'Oh man, how do you look like that, what magic DNA did you get?'"
Anna also revealed she was left covered in bruises after a scene in which her character and Chace's make out on the hood of a car.
"The scene where we kind of make out on the hood of a car, it all looks pretty sexy and cool and fun, but I would not recommend trying to do that," she said.
"It is uncomfortable. My legs were covered in bruises the next day. So I hope that it looks really nice, but it was actually quite a painful experience."
