Kevin Smith has confirmed his yet-to-be-released film Tusk will be getting a spin-off.

The writer and director's horror movie will be unveiled later this year, but Kevin told Screen Daily that he already has plans for a standalone movie focusing on two minor characters.

The film will be called Yoga-Hosers and shooting will start in the coming months.

"Like Tusk, [Yoga-Hosers] sprang out of a podcast," he explained.

"There are two characters in a convenience store in Tusk that you see for five minutes, very much Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.

"I've built a whole movie around them and I have brought one of the other characters from Tusk back."

Tusk was inspired by a real-life classified ad from a man asking for a roommate who would dress and act as a walrus, and follows a couple who make a horrific discovery when they search the backwoods of Canada after their friend goes missing.

It stars Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez and Michael Parks.

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Sagittarius:

Expressing your creative side is strongly advised. Take this opportunity to write, paint or play music. Relatives may not appreciate your work, but that doesn't matter. The important thing is to satisfy your own taste. People who are daring and experimental will appreciate your efforts. Don't be surprised if you're given a chance to showcase your work in a magazine, boutique or gallery. Fame and acclaim can be yours, so long as you're willing to follow your instincts.More
