Kidman: Firth's my screen hubby

Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman are playing a married couple for the second time

Nicole Kidman has joked about her "second marriage" to Colin Firth, following their second partnering on screen.

The Australian actress and the Oscar-winning British star play real-life married couple Eric and Patti Lomax in The Railway Man, and have reunited for the filming of psychological thriller Before I Go To Sleep, where they play husband and wife again.

"Colin said we're on our second marriage now, and it's true, but this is a very different marriage than our first," she told the Daily Mail.

"Before I Go To Sleep is a psychological thriller, my favourite genre. I'm making the kind of film I like to watch."

The big-screen adaptation of SJ Watson's novel is directed by writer Rowan Joffe, and the Stoker actress, who is married to country star and American Idol judge Keith Urban, revealed that she is enjoying taking risks in her films.

"I like directors who are daring and take chances. The films are sometimes experiments. I'm at a time of my life where I don't have to play by the rules and I can work with visionary filmmakers who aren't making formulaic films," said Nicole.

She added: "I want to be tested beyond my comfort zone. I don't want to be safe if it's more interesting to be dangerous."

Don't confuse love with lust. Having a physical relationship with someone isn't an indication of emotional commitment. When in doubt, talk to a trusted friend. They'll give you an honest assessment of this bond. A relative may ask to come to their rescue. Fortunately, you have the necessary resources to bail them out.More
