Sir Ben Kingsley is only supporting one horse in the race for this year's Oscars.
The veteran actor joked that his "selfish" perspective made him biased towards Michael Scorsese's Hugo, in which he stars.
"I'm so selfish, my peripheral vision does not extend to movie other than Hugo, I'm sorry," he joked on the red carpet for the Critics' Choice Movie Awards.
"They can all go to the devil as far as I'm concerned. It's Hugo, Hugo, Hugo."
The Oscar winner stars as Georges Melies in the family adventure, which also features Asa Butterfield and Chloe Moretz.
Sir Ben also spoke of his pride in the "life-enhancing" movie.
"I think it has at its centre an extra heartbeat that's actually quite difficult to define and it accumulates while you're watching the film," he said.
"It's deeply life enhancing, charming, comforting and perplexing sometimes as well."
