Knightley set to lead Laggies?

Keira Knightley is being linked to the lead role in Laggies

Keira Knightley has reportedly entered negotiations to replace Anne Hathaway in dark comedy Laggies.

The actress, who has married musician boyfriend James Righton, is in talks to play a 28-year-old who makes friends with a group of high school students in an attempt to escape adulthood after her boyfriend proposes marriage, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Anne had been set to lead the film, but has had to back out due to scheduling conflicts with Christopher Nolan's sci-fi adventure Interstellar.

Chloe Grace Moretz is already on board as one of the teenagers in the black comedy, which will be directed by Lynn Shelton.

Keira, who tied the knot to Klaxons keyboardist James in France on May 4, will next star in thriller Jack Ryan opposite Chris Pine, and indie music-themed drama Can A Song Save Your Life?
