K-Stew 'dropped from Snow White 2'

Kristen Stewart has apparently been dropped from the Snow White follow-up

Kristen Stewart has apparently been dropped from the Snow White sequel.

The actress had the title role in 2012's Snow White And The Huntsman - and hit the headlines when it emerged she had an affair with the film's married director Rupert Sanders.

She was thought to be returning for the follow up, but, according to The Wrap, the movie will now be a spin-off that will focus on the Huntsman character.

Chris Hemsworth will be back to play that role and Charlize Theron is expected to reprise the part of the villain, but it seems Twilight star Kristen won't be among the main cast.

The Wrap said if the actress does return it is likely she will just be making a cameo appearance.

Filmmaker Frank Darabont is in early talks and is expected to take over as director.
