Kurylenko: I'm happy with Bond past

Olga Kurylenko is happy to have Bond girl on her CV

Olga Kurylenko has revealed she is proud of her background as a Bond beauty.

The 33-year-old Ukrainian actress first found international fame as James Bond's sidekick Camille Montes in 2008's Quantum Of Solace alongside Daniel Craig as James Bond.

"I don't mind because it will always stay in history. I am rather proud to be a part of that legacy and I had a great time on set," she said.

"Producers Barbara (Broccoli) and Michael (G Wilson) are making such great movies, and the Bond films have been so popular over the years. I was so happy for them when they won the Bafta this year."

Olga, who stars with Tom Cruise in sci-fi drama Oblivion, has since appeared in Terrence Malick's To The Wonder and Martin McDonagh's black comedy Seven Psychopaths.

"I have gone on to do my own thing with other genres and different movies, so all that is left are great memories and a ton of skills that I learnt," she said.

The former model, who graced the front covers of Vogue and Elle at the age of 18, said appearing in a Bond film has whetted her appetite to do more action films.

"It is so much fun making them. We just get to do so many cool things and play with so many cool gadgets that you don't get to do in our normal life. It's even more fun to do them than to watch them," she added.

Morgan Freeman and Andrea Riseborough also star in Joseph Kosinski's Oblivion, which opens in cinemas on April 10.
