Kutcher excited for New Year's Eve

Ashton Kutcher will star in New Year's Eve

Ashton Kutcher is excited about reuniting with Garry Marshall for the forthcoming film New Year's Eve.

The No Strings Attached star is set to start filming the ensemble comedy-drama, directed by the veteran filmmaker - who Ashton made Valentine's Day with - in March alongside Jessica Biel, Sarah Jessica Parker and Robert De Niro.

"I'm very excited - I mean, working with Garry Marshall was an absolute pleasure," he revealed.

He added of the 76-year-old: "It's amazing the difference between working with young, new directors and working with people who know their way around the set and know the film they're making while they're making the film. You feel so safe as an actor and it changes the entire working experience, so I am beyond excited about working with him again."

Ashton - who stars in Ivan Reitman's No Strings Attached with Natalie Portman - joked he has yet to read the New Year's Eve script.

"I am about to start shooting (the film), I should read the script. Eventually I'll read it - I'm kidding," he quipped.

"It's seven different, individual stories on New Year's Eve so I get about a month until I have to get things going."

:: No Strings Attached is in cinemas on February 25.

You will have to defer to others, which makes you anxious. There's never any problem when you're in control. You know how to act quickly and decisively. If you act like you don't care about the outcome of a situation, they won't be paralysed with uncertainty. You have a tendency to make people nervous.More
