LaBeouf set for Countryman film
Shia LaBeouf is once again circling the lead role in gritty romance The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman.
The Transformers star was rumoured to be attached to the movie in 2010 but was apparently unable to commit due to scheduling issues.
However, Variety reports that plans for the film are back on track and Shia is set to play a man who travels to Budapest after his mother dies of cancer.
His character, Charlie Countryman, becomes entwined with a mysterious Hungarian girl named Gabi but she is already involved with a violent crime boss who isn't prepared to give her up.
Fredrik Bond will direct from a script by Matt Drake.
