Leven missed out on Hunger Games 2

Leven Rambin has admitted that watching the new Hunger Games film will be bittersweet because she's not in it.

The Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters actress was in the first Hunger Games movie - playing Glimmer, one of the teens forced to battle to the death - but will not appear in the next instalment, Catching Fire.

She said: "I am going to be sad, it's going to feel like I'm watching a home movie without myself in it, but I'm really excited to see it. I'm sure the new cast is amazing."

Leven also said The Hunger Games had been useful to her in preparing for her part in Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters.

She said: "Being in The Hunger Games taught me a lot about being in the action medium and being in the combat mode and being very physical, so I was lucky to have that experience...

"I have bumps and bruises everywhere, all the time. I don't want to do those stunts but I do them. Sometimes I want to do them, sometimes I don't. It's made me tougher and stronger as I do it."
