Liam Neeson is to appear in the Entourage movie, after being spotted on set.

The Taken star was photographed filming a scene with Jeremy Piven's character Ari Gold in Los Angeles, reported The Wrap.

The 61-year-old, who is promoting his latest thriller Non-Stop, is tipped to play himself in the big-screen version of the hit TV show, with eyewitnesses saying he drove a gold Bentley while Jeremy was seen steering a red Ferrari.

The original Entourage cast - Jeremy, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara and Kevin Dillon - is returning for the movie, which will be directed by the series' creator Doug Ellin.

Billy Bob Thornton and Haley Joel Osment will join the cast as father-and-son film financiers.

The Entourage film, based on the HBO show which ran from 2004 to 2011, will be released in the US in June 2015.

Liam, who has wrapped thriller Run All Night and lends his voice to a police officer with a split personality in The Lego Movie, will next star in comedy, A Million Ways To Die In The West and the crime drama, A Walk Among The Tombstones.

He is also attached to star in Martin Scorsese's Silence and reprise his role for the third time in Taken 3.

Beware of spending beyond your means. Sticking to a budget will help you survive the festive season relatively unscathed. It will be easier than you think to let your grip on the purse strings slip especially as the big day draws near. Let Christmas be about loving, sharing and giving. Spend quality time preparing food, making decorations and playing games together. If you haven't sent all your cards or round robin emails give some thought about what you will be sharing with others this year.More
