Liam Neeson ready for action in A Team film

HANNIBAL RISING: Liam Neeson (far right)

This is the first official picture released of the new and much-awaited Liam Neeson action film ‘The A Team’ based on the iconic 1980s’ TV series.

It is a big-screen adaptation of the popular ITV series of the same name.

The film revolves around four ‘goodie’ war veterans who are wrongly convicted of armed robbery but manage to escape from military prison and become do-gooder mercenaries.

Stunning Jessica Biel adds to the cast and is seen starring as the glamorous ex-lover of the army general appointed to pursue the mercenary team.

The film stars Ballymena-born Liam Neeson as the cigar-chomping leader of the pack, Colonel John ‘Hannibal’ Smith.

It also features Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, Quinton Jackson as Sgt. Bosco B.A. Baracus and Sharlto Copley as Captain H.M. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock.

The film is due for release in Britain and Ireland on July 30.

The picture was taken on the film set in Vancouver and is released courtesy of 20th century Fox.
