Liev Schreiber will soon go Mental with PJ Hogan.
Without A Trace's Anthony LaPaglia and Rebecca Gibney have also joined the Australian director's first home-grown film since Muriel's Wedding, reported The Playlist.
Toni Collette is already on board in the black comedy, as Shaz, a hitchhiker who is brought in to babysit five girls after being hired by their adulterous politician dad.
"Like Muriel's Wedding, Mental is a comedy laced with pain and brimming with flawed but loveable characters," the director said.
"Shaz is hilarious, outrageous, dangerous, courageous, inspiring, heart-breaking and totally, totally mad."
Since the 1994 hit, which launched Toni's career, PJ - short for Paul John - has directed My Best Friend's Wedding starring Julia Roberts and Cameron Diaz, Peter Pan with Jason Isaacs and Confessions Of A Shopaholic with Isla Fisher.
