Lil Wayne: Pixar role is 'rumour'

Lil Wayne says reports of him working on The Good Dinosaur are 'just rumours'

Lil Wayne has brushed off rumours that he is to star in Pixar's The Good Dinosaur.

The US rapper had been linked to a lead character in the upcoming animated movie, but his management told MTV News that this "is only talk" and that the reports are "just rumours".

Up screenwriter Bob Peterson and Peter Sohn will direct The Good Dinosaur, which looks at an alternative history where humans and dinosaurs live together on earth. The film is scheduled for release in May 2014.

Lil Wayne wouldn't have been the first rapper to lend his vocal talents to a feature-length cartoon. Both Drake and Nicki Minaj were featured in Ice Age: Continental Drift.

Meanwhile, Lil Wayne - whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr - has revealed that he would like to be a sports commentator once he has finished his Tha Carter V album. He has already appeared on ESPN's First Take and Jim Rome's sports talk show.

"I'd be a skater/sports analyst. My day job will probably be sports analyst and I'll skate all night instead of being in the studio all night," he said.

This isn't a good time to make travel plans. Weather conditions and work responsibilities have a way of wreaking havoc with your schedule. Wait another few days before putting down a hefty deposit. Working behind the scenes will yield significant rewards. If someone asks you to serve as their assistant, go ahead and accept. The pay will be excellent and there will be a lot of fringe benefits, too. Don't talk about a neighbour's private life in mixed company.More
