Linings wins big at Satellites
Silver Linings Playbook has picked up five trophies at the Satellite Awards in the US, including best actor and best actress for stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence.
The movie, about a bipolar sufferer (Bradley) who forges an unlikely friendship with a young widow (Jennifer) also won the best motion picture award and best director for David O Russell.
The awards, now in their 17th year, also saw Homeland and The The Big Bang Theory scoop three TV prizes each, including best drama series and best comedy series respectively.
Anne Hathaway was named best supporting actress for Les Miserables, while Javier Bardem was given the best supporting actor gong for his role as Skyfall villain Raoul Silva.
Best international film was a tie between France's The Intouchables and South Korea's Pieta and Rise Of The Guardians was named best animated movie.
