Ray Liotta will be reunited with the Muppets after being named the latest actor to join the human cast of The Muppets sequel.
The Goodfellas star, who previously appeared in 1999's Muppets From Space, is to play an unspecified role, reported Variety.
Ricky Gervais is on board to play the lead, with Tina Fey and Ty Burrell to co-star and with James Bobin sitting in the director's chair again.
Production on the follow-up, which will be set in Europe, is scheduled to begin in London in coming weeks.
Ray, best known for playing New York mobster Henry Hill in Goodfellas, will next be seen in two crime dramas - Derek Cianfrance's The Place Beyond The Pines with Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper, and The Iceman with Winona Ryder and Michael Shannon.
