Jennifer Lopez's future on American Idol could be uncertain after suggestions that she is eyeing up roles in two films.
The Hollywood singer-actress, who judged the latest series alongside Randy Jackson and Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, is in talks for Parker and What To Expect When You're Expecting, Deadline reported.
Jason Statham is already on board in the action film Parker as the titular character, a thief who follows a moral code.
J-Lo would play the female lead who gets involved with Parker as he plans a heist in the movie, to be directed by Taylor Hackford and based on the Donald Westlake mystery novel series.
Production on the film would begin in August.
The mother-of-twins is also said to be considering Kirk Jones' drama What To Expect When You're Expecting, based on the best-selling childbirth guide, where she would join Cameron Diaz and Matthew Morrison.
J-Lo's last big-screen outing was in The Back-Up Plan in 2010, although she is lending her vocal talents to Ice Age: Continental Drift.
