Lupita 'looking to the future'

Lupita Nyong'o has said that nothing could top her amazing year - unless she is crowned British royalty.

The 12 Years A Slave actress has been the toast of Hollywood, winning an Oscar for her role in the acclaimed movie.

Lupita told the May issue of Marie Claire that the praise had been "phenomenal", but said that she was focusing on her future, even adding: "I hope that I will get to work soon."

The star, who has been crowned one of Marie Claire's Fresh Faces, alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Elle Fanning, Kate Mara and Emilia Clarke, admitted that it would be difficult to have a better 12 months.

She told the magazine she was "not in the business of trying to top this year", adding: "That's virtually impossible. I'd have to be pronounced the Queen of England or something."
