Lutz hoping for more Expendables

Kellan Lutz has admitted he is already hoping to reprise his Expendables role - at least once.

The Twilight star joins Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Harrison Ford, Jason Statham and a string of other veteran action stars in the latest instalment of Sly's franchise about a group of mercenaries.

Kellan said working with the veteran actors on The Expendables 3 was "a dream".

"When you put them together, you would think that it would be an epic battle of who is bigger, who's better, who's stronger. But everyone complements each other significantly," he said.

"I hope we get to do a fourth one and a fifth one."

The young actor joined the all-star cast - which also includes Wesley Snipes, Jet Li and Antonio Banderas - in riding along the famous Croisette in tanks to arrive for a press conference at the Cannes Film Festival.

Kellan said: " It was 10am - We're like, who's up at 10am? We had people running from where we started which was a mile away!"

"It's been exhausting in the best of ways," he said. "I just want to lay out by the pool, get a massage. I never treat myself ... It's just a great little break."
