MacFarlane considering Ted sequel

Mark Wahlberg starred in summer comedy hit Ted

Seth MacFarlane has admitted he is considering making a sequel to his hit summer comedy Ted.

Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis starred in the film about a man who just can't grow up and remains best buddies with his teddy bear Ted, voiced by Seth.

The creator of hit animations Family Guy, American Dad! and The Cleveland Show was asked by gossip website TMZ if he planned to make a sequel.

Seth said: "We're thinking about it," adding that he was meeting up with the film's co-writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild in New York.

His comments come just days after NBCUniversal CEO Steve Burke said: "We'd like to see a Ted 2 as soon as we can."

The film topped the US box office in its opening weekend, making almost 55 million dollars and hasgrossed 406.4 million dollars worldwide to date.
