Marvel head Feige teases Hulk film

Mark Ruffalo played the Incredible Hulk in Avengers Assemble

Mark Ruffalo could be the star in his own Hulk movie, hinted Marvel producer Kevin Feige.

Kevin previously insisted that there are no further plans for another screen outing featuring the mean, green smashing machine following Avengers Assemble, but has now revealed that things could change after Avengers 2.

"Do I think Hulk can carry a movie and be as entertaining as he was in Avengers? I do believe that. I do believe he absolutely could," he told MTV News.

"We certainly are not even going to attempt that until Avengers. So there's a lot of time to think about it," he added.

Mark has said that he would welcome the opportunity to make more films with his Incredible Hulk alter-ego after revealing he has signed a six-film deal with Marvel. Eric Bana and Edward Norton previously portrayed the character.

Kevin said that Mark's stamp on the character has endeared him to fans.

"I think the pathos and humour, most importantly, that Mark and Joss [Whedon] brought to it showcased a different element of Hulk that's there in the comics, and was always inherent in his character," he continued.

"But when he was so brooding in his other two films, he didn't get to have that wry sense of humour that Mark did such an amazing job performing."

Joss is set to return to the director's chair for Avengers 2, to be released in May 2015.
